Tooth-colored Fillings
Tooth-colored fillings, as you might guess, are "invisible" and virtually undetectable, unlike silver / amalgam fillings which don't match your tooth color at all.
Tooth-colored fillings come in several shades and are matched to your individual tooth color. Often, a different material is used for front and back teeth. The materials used for front teeth have a high shine, while materials for back teeth are designed mainly for strength and durability.
Some of the main advantages of tooth-colored fillings over silver/amalgam fillings are; you can eat on them right away, and they look great!
